In April 2025, the Czech Youth Association took part in the Bridge Project, an international initiative led by Stowarzyszenie Skill in cooperation with Young Democrats for Europe. The project brought together 12 young representatives from Poland, Czech Republic, and France, all active in NGOs, media, and political sectors.
The participants visited Lviv and Kyiv to gain a firsthand understanding of the situation in Ukraine and to strengthen partnerships with Ukrainian institutions.
The program began in Lviv, where we met with Lviv City Councilor Yuriy Repytskyi to discuss the regional situation. Participants also visited the Field of Mars, honoring the fallen of the current war, and held an evening dialogue with experts from the SII Institute.
In Kyiv, the delegation was guided by Nadiya Govorun from the NGO Poruch, and engaged in several high-level meetings:
- A discussion with Ukrainian MP Pavlo Frolov on the current political landscape;
- Consultations with the International Charity Fund uDonation and the Ukrainian Youth Foundation on future project funding;
- An exchange with Save Life in UA and prominent political vlogger Davydiuk;
- A meeting with Zemliachky Ukrainian Front, supporting women on the frontline;
- And a youth-focused session hosted by Rising Leaders for the Future, where participants presented the political situations in their home countries to nearly 100 Ukrainian youth.
The final event concluded with a meeting with Edyn Ukraine, a local civic organization.
This project served as a valuable platform for international exchange, direct observation, and future collaboration. We thank all our partners and participants for their openness, insight, and commitment. We look forward to continuing this vital cooperation across borders.
